Originally from Monmouth County in New Jersey, my family relocated to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1974. After graduating from Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, I attended Boston University for my freshman year and realized how much I missed home. I returned to Gainesville in 1981 and have lived in Gainesville ever since. I graduated from University of Florida with a BS in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and a Certificate in Latin American Studies in December 1984. After graduation my husband and I made the decision to remain here in Gainesville as this is a wonderful town in which to raise children, attend college or even to retire. Our son is currently attending the UF and following in our Gator footprints! The sale or purchase of a home is for most of us the largest monetary transaction we make in our lifetime. Whether you are a first time buyer or a seasoned pro at real estate, the relationship you have with your Realtor can make the process one you will look back on with satisfaction or ....well, something less. My goal as a Realtor is to provide top notch customer service and to educate my clients in what factors can impact their success as a seller or a buyer. Knowledge of local market conditions is critical and having lived in Gainesville for over 30 years, since I began at the University of Florida, I am very familiar with the local Gainesville/ Alachua County area. My prior work experience as a certified residential appraiser assists me greatly. I worked here and in the surrounding counties-for me the majority of my appraisals were in Alachua and Columbia county. I experienced the "irrational exuberance of the stock and real estate market and have what I consider a unique perspective on value and price. I look forward to providing customer service that recognizes your specific needs and will reach out and maintain substantive contact as you wish. I answer my calls promptly and welcome calls and/or questions.
